Summary:
 
The Jr Charter Sales Executive is responsible for assisting in growing Charter Revenue using the Jet Linx managed fleet of private jets. This is an entry sales position where the candidate will learn and grow negotiating and prospecting skill. This role will assist with Charter Support duties and/or Contract Charter Account Mgmt. when needed. A successful candidate must be highly motivated to sell and able to work independently.
 
Duties & Responsibilities: 
  1. Engage current and prospective wholesale clients to generate Charter activity and forge lasting relationships quoting the Jet Linx fleet.
  2. Maintain daily marketing availability to our biggest Charter buyers by making the necessary outgoing marketing efforts (including phone calls, electronic communication and offsite visits) to promote Jet Linx fleet and grow Charter business.
  3. Create business through use of NBAA Airmail and general/constant outreach.
  4. Ensure accuracy and manage all details of Charter bookings from quoting stage through booking process.
  5. Assist the Charter Support Team in managing all details of Charter bookings from quoting stage through booking process as needed.
  6. Understand all Charter Support functions and the entire process from booking through invoice.
  7. Work closely with the Capacity team to identify potential crew issues and find resolutions.
  8. Collaborate with Fleet Optimization to maximize aircraft scheduling efficiency to meet company goals.
  9. Handle and escalate service issues appropriately, including timely follow up.
  10. Develop and maintain relationships with industry partners that could lead to creative partnerships.
  11. Assist in identifying monthly, quarterly, and annual department goals.
  12. Research, collect, analyze and interpret industry trends both nationally and within local markets to ensure the brand is being marketed and considered.
  13. Maintain a solid understanding of local and national trends.
  14. Share in the on-call rotation as needed and on designated nights/holidays.
  15. Regular and predictable on-site attendance.
  16. Demonstrate Jet Linx’s core values and “Supply the High” in all interactions.
  17. Performs other duties as assigned.
 
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: 
  • Possess well-rounded understanding of JLA business model and projected growth
  • Ability to think outside of the box
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with all levels of the company and its customers 
  • Ability to work flexible, non-standard hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and FOS
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of team
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to maintain the confidentiality of sensitive information
  • Self-motivated and willingness to take initiative utilizing client information for problem resolution 
  • Ability to multi-task and complete work within assigned timelines under minimal supervision 
  • Operate office equipment as needed
  • Ability to travel as needed
 
Education and Work Experience: 
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred
  • 2+ years of related aviation experience preferred
  
Physical Requirements: 
  • Majority of work is completed in a normal office work environment
  • Able to complete physical activities such as standing, sitting, walking, talking, and hearing to perform daily work functions
  • Must be able to move up to 25 pounds on an infrequent basis
Documentation Requirements: 
  • Ability to obtain a U.S. drivers license
  • Proof of eligibility to work in the US
