Qatar Airways Cargo is excited to announce the opportunity for a dedicated Cargo Sales Executive for Live Animals to join our dynamic UK & Ireland team. This role, stationed at our bustling London Heathrow office, is crafted for those with a commitment to providing excellent customer service and a background in animal transportation logistics. The selected candidate will be the subject matter expert for Live Animals in the UK & Ireland team, and play a pivotal role in upholding our renowned standards for animal transportation, contributing to our leading position in the live animal transport industry.
The role:
Operational
• Promote awareness of Live Animal services to enhance customer engagement, with ownership of local marketing activities.
• Manage Live Animal cargo bookings with precision, adhering to established processes and guidelines.
• Collaborate with various internal departments and third parties to deliver timely and prioritized shipment handling.
• Manage customer interactions, addressing enquiries and issues effectively.
• Coordinate responses to escalations and promptly manage service recovery actions.
• Manage customer relationships to grow our portfolio of Live Animal customers.
• Identify opportunities to improve cargo sales and operational performance.
• Utilize market insights to influence pricing, enhance our services and drive revenue growth.
• Maintain databases, produce reports & presentations as required by station, regional & HQ management.

About you
• Minimum of a High School Qualification; Higher education is desirable.
• Solid understanding of the cargo industry; prior experience with live animals preferred.
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
• Proven track record in customer relationship management.
• Strong analytical skills, with proficiency in reporting and delivering presentations.
• Collaborative team member with a proactive approach and strong drive.
• Meticulous attention to detail with strong organizational skills.
• Capable of juggling multiple tasks, thriving under pressure, and making informed decisions swiftly.
