Synthetic Flight Instructor and Ground Instructors, Vienna Training Centre - Full time, Permanent po

Our Business Aviation Training Division is undergoing an exciting period of expansion and we are looking for full time, permanent Synthetic Flightu202FInstructors and Ground School Instructors to join our new business aviation training centre in Vienna, Austria. The centre will deploy the first Bombardier Global 7500 full-flight simulator (FFS) in Europe, making pilot training on this popular aircraft type more accessible and convenient for operators in the region.

CAE will initially operate six state-of the-art FFSs in Vienna and we are looking for full time permanent SFIu2019s and GSIu2019s to be based on the Global 7500, a Global 6000 Vision and Phenom, additional simulators will be announced in due course. The new 8,000-square-metre facility will have space for expansion with a capacity for up to nine FFSs and will be purpose-built to deliver the most advanced pilot training experience in Central Europe.

The role we are offering you

We will build upon your existing experience as an aviation professional and transform you into a world-class Synthetic Flight Instructor and subject matter expert, ready to lead clients through their training u2013 all with the added benefit of spending less time away from home.

You will work alongside our client partners, providing expert Synthetic Flight instruction.u202FIn addition, someu202Fclassroom-based instruction will be required, and you will be responsible for the upkeep of accurate and concise trainee records.u202FYou willu202Falso get tou202Fwork with top of the range equipment and the very latest aircraftu202Ftechnologies.u202F

Our ideal candidate has:

• Held an EASA or ICAO equivalent licence

• 1500 hours or more total multi-pilot time (please also add if you have 500hrs or more SP hours)

• Previous instructional experience - CFI, SFI or SFEu202F

• Must read, speak, and converse in English at a high levelu202F

• A keen eye for detail in training delivery u2013 you must be willing to maintain accurate and timely records in accordance with CAE policy and requirements

• Ability to tailor training sessions to the needs of a diverse customer base

• Basic computer proficiency u2013 Microsoft Office and other internet-based programsu202F

• Flexibility to commit to a full-time work pattern

• Must live in commutable distance to the Training Centre in Schwechartu202F

• The right to live and work in Austria is desirable

• Prepared to spend a period of time outside of Austria to undertake initial type and SFI ratings
