Verilog Developer
Location: Broad Oak, Portsmouth, 2-3 Days on site
Rate: 55.62 PH PAYE + Holiday pay or 73.39 ph Umbrella

Duration: 6 Months

This is a technical role relating to the Digital Electronic design.
The Role Holder will :-
• Integrate digital electronic and PLD design solutions for technology insertions into legacy products.
• Modification of detailed Verilog designs.
• Participate in all aspects of board and unit-level designs and including their interfaces with higher levels
Key Responsibilities
• Verilog design, code, simulation, test, and integration and embedded IP.
• Design verification using a combination of simulation, analysis, and test techniques.
• Generate design documentation and technical reports.
• Interfacing with related disciplines.
• Assist the development of higher level system designs.
• Assist the development of technical requirement specifications
• Support system integration activities

• Is required to make judgements based on own knowledge and experience of similar situations.
• Must assess the viability and applicability of solutions, evaluates alternatives based on an understanding of common or previous solutions to problems and analysis of factual information.

Skills:
The role holder will have a degree or equivalent in Electronic Engineering or strongly related subject, and have experience in one or more of the following areas :-
• Development of FPGA/CPLD designs
• Design proving, integration, and defect resolution.
• Gathering of evidence to support acceptance, fitness for purpose, legislative requirements, and safety.
