Position Summary
The Quality Assurance Executive is responsible for the Supervision of the Yearly Quality plan and maintains a safe, efficient, cost effective and high-quality metrics. Assist the efforts for continuous improvement in areas of Quality, Safety, environmental compliance, product quality and new product introduction. Work closely with plant personnel, to implement best practices in pursuit of manufacturing excellence.
Responsibilities
This person reports to Production Manager. He/ She is responsible for supporting and managing the activities in Quality department, Lean management and quality management of Production, as to meet the requirements of safety, quality, delivery, cost control to achieve the division’s objectives. The incumbent will support in solution and implementation of Quality/ equipment/ procedure improvement to meet the requirement of safety production, establish and maintain communication across functions.
ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Follow yearly Quality Scheduled plan in coordination with Production manager.
Liaising with warehousing, quality, bulk-packaging to ensure prompt shipment of product.
Track the quality metrics monthly. Monitor and communicate the quality metrics assessment to Global Quality
Determine the quality cost elements (APPRAISAL, PREVENTION and FAILURE) monthly. Monitor and communicate the quality cost elements to Global Quality.
Prepare the annual audit plan of QMS audits. Communicate the audit schedule to respective process owners. Perform the audit as per plan, preserve the record and communicate the non-conformities.
Monitor individual supplier performance quarterly by the data collected and download from SAP, ascertain the suppliers to be audited. Plan and perform the Audit.
Assist in implementing continuous manufacturing process improvements to achieve higher quality, efficiency and productivity thereby contributing to overall gain.
Perform yearly Product and Process Qualification to maintain the quality of products & processes and comply IATF requirements.
Assist in determination of root cause and implement corrective and preventive actions whenever customer and internal non-conformance occurs.
- Plan and perform MSA and SPC study of product and processes to comply the quality and IATF 16949 requirements.
Keep the documentation up to date, preserve the documents as per retention time and retrieve it as and when required.
To assist in checking incoming material, in process and final product as per specified parameters
To coordinate with sales team for customer complaints, revalidation etc.
To assist in New Product development by performing Lab trails, etc.
Maintain the laboratory instruments in working conditions and consumable required for testing.
To keep track of expired products and revalidate the same as the quality systems.
Schedules and performs calibrations for plant measuring instruments.
In absence of technical service Executive, Conduct the trials of customer profiles &/or parts and convey the results.
Conducts other R&D work as and when necessary.
Oversee and/or conduct training of new or existing employees. Establish and support a work environment of continuous improvement that supports the company’s Quality policy, Quality System, Safety standards and appropriate regulations for the area.
Lead Natural production HPT team and executive cost saving, productivity/process, quality, delivery, improvement projects.
Support Execution of Lean management initiatives and suggest and implement cost saving, safety, quality, delivery initiatives.
Lead on implementing lean principles to improve efficiency and reduce waste by optimizing processes, fostering continuous improvement, and training teams

Qualifications
Qualifications
MANDATORY JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s in chemical engineering / Masters in Chemistry.
Min 6 -8 years ‘experience in a Chemical manufacturing/ Rubber / Polymer / Adhesives Industries.
Experience in handling hazardous and flammable materials.
Expertise in quality Systems 9001/14001/ IATF16949 Quality Management System.
Good initiative and interpersonal skills.
Good skills on MS office, SPC, MSA.
Good communication skills, written and verbal.
Essential skills include strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, proficiency in lean methodologies like Kaizen and 5S, and excellent communication and mentoring skills
NON-MANDATORY JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s/ Master’s degree in Science is preferable.
Professional certifications will be a plus.
