Summary:
Performs a range of production assembly tasks on electronic and mechanical assemblies and subassemblies, including modules, boards, panels, drawers, frames, and cables. Responsibilities include:
Working from diagrams and drawings to make initial layouts.
Using hand and/or power tools, jigs, and saws as needed.
Conducting continuity checks on work in process and completed products.
Performing quality inspections on the processing line in accordance with quality specifications.
Disassembling, modifying, reworking, reassembling, and testing experimental or prototype assemblies and subassemblies as per specifications and under simulated conditions.
