Northrop Grumman Mission Systems is seeking an Industrial Security Analyst 2 to support a fast-paced, high-profile portfolio of multiple classified programs. The responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:  As the Alternate Contractor Program Security Officer (ACPSO), provide direct support to and coordinate security activities with the program CPSO.   Create, maintain and leverage working relationships with internal and external customers.  Experience in program security, with knowledge of implementing a multi-disciplined security program (access control, personnel security, physical security, visitor control, etc.). Support security education classes and related briefings.  Investigate security violations and prepare reports specifying preventive action to be taken. Understand government policy and directives to be able to apply solutions to complex tasks/challenges/assignments that are in compliance with policy.  Participate in security compliance audits and self-inspections.  Must be able to work directly with the customer to coordinate daily security activities.

Basic Qualifications for a level 2:

  • Bachelor’s degree and 2 years of experience. An additional 4 years of work experience may be substituted for a bachelors degree.
  • Current Secret clearance with ability to obtain Top Secret.
  • In-scope investigation closed within last 6 years or current enrollment in Continuous Evaluation (CE) program.
  • Must be able to collaborate effectively with customers, security peers and program management team members.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Current Top Secret clearance.
  • Familiarity with DoDM 5205.07 V1-4, NISPOM, ICD 705, ICD 704.
  • Ability to work independently and follow projects through to completion
  • Able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, make decisions in the midst of ambiguity, and meet deadlines.
  • Strong working knowledge of basic office automation tool suites such as MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Knowledgeable of SIMS and DISS databases.
Salary Range: $68,800 - $103,200
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidates experience, education, skills and current spanet conditions.
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
