Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our FAA PART 145 Repair Station. This role involves maintaining and troubleshooting machinery such as waterjets, manual machines (deburr, polish, lathe, mills, grinders), and process clean lines and facilities. You will be responsible for ensuring equipment is operational, coordinating with vendors, and maintaining inventory levels.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot equipment issues and make necessary repairs in a timely manner.
• Communicate with purchasing to maintain inventory levels of spare components.
• Coordinate and communicate with vendors.
• Work with the production manager to schedule routine preventative maintenance.
• Maintain the orderliness of the maintenance area and organization of replacement components.
• Adhere to all quality and safety standards.
• Perform both mechanical and electrical maintenance tasks (70 mechanical, 30 electrical).
• Balance preventative maintenance and reactive maintenance tasks (50 each).

• Experience in composite, assembly, fabrication, aircraft, composite material, mechanical assembly, and industrial machinery.
• Proficiency in sanding, epoxy, sheet metal, grinding, drilling, deburring, repair, and structure.
• Ability to operate machinery and perform mechanical tasks.
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to follow work orders.
• Experience with hand tools, power tools, oil changes, and molding.
• Experience in the aerospace industry.
• GED/HS Diploma required.
• Minimum of 3 years of industrial maintenance experience.
• Experience with 480v electrical systems.
• Experience with pneumatic and hydraulic systems.

• Experience with HVAC, PLC, welding, and manual machining is a plus.

Work Environment

You will be working in our FAA 145 Repair and Overhaul station or Waterjet Department, supporting the overhaul of GEs F-110 engines used in F15 & F16 aircraft. The R&O facility will be moving to a new location within the next year. The R&O team works 1st shift from 6:00 am to 4:30 pm Monday through Thursday, and 6:00 am to 2:30 pm on Friday. The Waterjet team works from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm Monday through Friday. As an FAA 145 Repair Station, you must be willing to submit to random drug and alcohol testing.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $29.00 - $33.00/hr.
