Job Title: Hospitality Associate

Job Description

We are seeking individuals with positive attitudes and a strong desire to deliver exceptional customer service skills at the San Jose airport. This temporary assignment spans five days, providing valuable assistance during the anticipated surge of passengers due to the Super Bowl event. Successful candidates will work at various stations, executing a range of tasks to enhance the travel experience.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and guide arriving vehicles to the correct parking spaces; no valet services will be provided.
• Welcome and direct individuals arriving or departing with a courteous demeanor, assisting with luggage and other needs.
• Manage catering orders for passengers, set up dining areas, clean dishes, and organize snack and refreshment areas.
• Perform spot cleaning of surfaces and floors as needed.
• Assist with baggage handling in non-tarmac areas while aiding arriving or departing passengers.
• Pay close attention during training to effectively perform assigned responsibilities.

Essential Skills

• Exceptional customer service and hospitality skills.
• Experience in customer support and front desk administrative roles.
• Previous restaurant customer service experience.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Ability to pass airport compliance checks.
• Preferred experience in airport baggage handling.
• Experience in hospitality services or concierge roles is advantageous.
• Experience in directing lobby and parking lot traffic courteously.
• High-level courtesy skills and the ability to offer hospitality at all times.

Work Environment

Personnel will be required for training at least 2-3 days before the event, followed by a full five days during the event. The role involves working on the day shift with a focus on delivering excellent customer service in a bustling airport environment.

This is a Contract position based out of San Jose, CA.

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $30.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in San Jose,CA.
