CLEARABLE OR ACTIVE CLEARANCE
Pay Range: $30-35


• Maintain and improve ergonomics programs to assure compliance with applicable federal, state, local and company EH&S requirements.
• Work with cross functional teams to identify opportunities to develop and implement proactive strategies to prevent ergonomic injuries.
• Develop and delivers ergonomics related training and presentations to promote awareness and compliance.
• Support and implement site injury reduction and ergonomic goals and initiatives.
• Answer employee compliance questions/concerns and influence safe behaviors.
• Conduct first aid and OSHA injury investigations and root cause analysis. Identify corrective actions and track to completion.
• Interpret and apply OSHA, EPA, DOT, NIOSH, ANSI, NFPA, IFC, IBC and other applicable regulations and standards.
• Manage and provide support to other site EH&S program areas, as needed.
• Analysis of leading and lagging safety performance indicators for trends to drive corrective actions.
• Collaborate with individuals and teams across the business.
• Effectively organize, prioritize, and address multiple, simultaneous projects or tasks.

• Required Skill Sets:
o Bachelors of Science, major in ergonomics, human kinetics, kinesiology, human engineering or a STEM field, or equivalent experience.
• Desired Skill Sets:
o Associate Ergonomics Professional (AEP), Certified Professional Ergonomist (CPE).
o Experience with EHS project or program management.
o Experience in providing and/or developing EHS training.
o Active Secret level or higher security clearance.
• Years of Experience Required (if any): 2-6 years
• Education Level Required: Bachelors.
• How will the contractor’s success be measured?: Completion of Ergonomics assessments related to pre-identified risks, injury, or employee concern. Closure of open High/elevated/medium ergo risks. Closure of open cases in EH&S Smart.
• Culture: The contractor will be working independently to execute assigned tasks within the greater EH&S team.
