Job Summary

The Commercial Support Officer will support the day to day Commercial operation of the business and be responsible for the administration and activities associated with customer enquiries, the return of quotations, order receipt and management though to invoice clearance and overdue debt reduction.

Job Responsibilities
  • Process and support the company order book to reflect the customer purchase order requirements in a timely and professional manner.
  • Facilitate the invoicing process and be responsible for overdue debt clearance (including direct liaison and management of overdue debt resolution with customers.
  • Executes the agreed actions for improvements/ recoveries on claims and disputes including actions to align customer scorecards, in close collaboration with the responsible disciplines.
  • Co-ordination of Commercial communication to and from internal and external customers.
  • Ability to integrate with internal processes and departments to highlight commercial issues to the program.
  • Support the interface with the business to highlight contractual obligations to its customers in order to avoid breach of such obligations.
  • To support customer / change negotiations and implementation including analysis of data and pricing.
  • Establishing and controlling robust document management in the IPT and towards/ from the customer.

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED 
  • 2 years of contract administration experience in commercial and government contracts/sub-contracts and/or Aerospace customer service experience
  • Must be a U.S. Person per ITAR regulations to comply with export compliance


Preferred Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • Proven experience with Customer Interface and Communication
  • Data driven, strong analytics experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field of program, business, and commercial management
  • Completed or continued education in Business, Program Management, Engineering or related fields 
  • Hands-on/professional experience data entry of customer requirements into ERP systems
  • Experience with aerospace and/or aircraft machined and assembled components
  • Intermediate Excel experience and working knowledge
  • Strong working knowledge of MS Office Suite (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel)
  • Financial exposure and/or experience with Budgeting and Cost Accounting
  • Working knowledge of FAR/DFARS
  • Able to work well under pressure.
  • Advanced user of Microsoft Office Software. (excel, PowerPoint, word, outlook)
  • Must possess excellent interpersonal, negotiation, organizational and communication skills.
  • Self-starter, able to be successful with little to no supervision.
  • Able to interact with all levels of management.
