Position Summary:
STS Technical Services is seeking a Combat Tracked Vehicle Field Service Technician to provide expert support for projects involving M109 FOV or M88A2 Recovery platforms in the Field Service Department. This role involves deployment to Ft. Cavazos, Texas, with potential deployment to Ft. Stewart, Georgia, or even Poland. The ideal candidate must be willing to travel domestically and internationally as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Proficiently provide Field Service Support for M109 FOV or M88/A2 HERCULES Recovery Platforms.
- Demonstrate mastery of technical data for operation, troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and repair of the mentioned equipment.
- Foster positive interactions with both internal and external customers.
- Collaborate effectively within a team environment.
- Utilize computer-based programs for data input, report generation, and information presentation.
- Analyze complex problems and offer viable solutions.
- Adhere to managerial directives, organizing and prioritizing tasks efficiently.
- Uphold all Company ethical, safety, and behavioral policies.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 4+ years of relevant experience in maintenance on Tracked Combat Vehicles for the US Army and/or Marine Corps.
- Demonstrated integrity, ethical conduct, and dedication.
- Substantial experience operating and maintaining M109 FOV SPH or M88A2 HERCULES recovery vehicles.
- Proficiency in computer-based programs for reporting, training, and data collection.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Preference for graduates of Artillery or Recovery School, though not required.
- Honorable discharge for former military personnel.
