What You Will Be Doing
Join our team as a Chemical Management Specialist, supporting aircraft production and sustainment at Greenville Operations. In this role, you will execute chemical management processes in a collaborative, team-based aircraft manufacturing and sustainment environment. You will work closely with engineering and our third-party logistics (3PL) partner to ensure the availability of chemical materials needed for our operations.

Key Responsibilities
- Define and scope chemical requirements alongside engineering for effective execution by the 3PL partner.

- Partner with 3PL on-site to ensure chemical material availability and support forecasting activities.

- Monitor shortage reports, understand potential impacts on operations, and work with 3PL to develop and implement mitigation strategies.

- Lead self-directed projects, collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to achieve project goals.

- Provide training in core skill areas to team members and peers, enhancing overall team capability.

- Engage with internal and external suppliers regarding product planning, problem resolution, and process improvement.

- Prepare status reports and deliver briefings for a diverse audience, ranging from executive leadership to shop floor personnel.

Basic Qualifications:
- 5 years of relevant experience

- Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline or 9 years experience in absence of Bachelors Degree

- Experience working in a 3PL environment.
Desired Skills:
- Experience with Total Chemical Management Information System (TCMIS)
- Inventory management experience, especially time and temperature sensitive and/or shelf life managed materials
- Production control, material management and/or material logistics experience
- Experience with Systems Applications and Processes (SAP) or other ERP System
- Experience writing command media and or statements of work
- Experience leading cross functional projects
- Experience with material forecasting and supply chain point of use performance measures
- Experience preparing reports using MS Excel and Power Point
- Exceptional communication skills and ability to follow up and drive actions to completion

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
