Job Summary
STS Technical Services is hiring CDL Drivers in La Porte, Texas to operate an 80,000 lbs. tractor/trailer to transport materials and equipment safely. The driver will adhere to laws, maintain activity logs, and protect property entrusted to them. Duties & Responsibilities
- Safely operate a tractor/trailer at all times.
- Comply with state and federal regulations regarding routine/random/post-accident drug and alcohol testing for all employees governed by the DOT regulatory process.
- Complete Driver’s Vehicle Inspection Report.
- Maintain a Driver Log per federal regulations.
- Load and unload equipment on the trailer, ensuring proper load security.
- Deliver outstanding customer service during delivery and pickup operations.
- Follow company policies, maintain a safe workspace, and comply with all safety standards.
Qualifications
- Current Class A Driver’s License.
- Valid TWIC Card and Medical Card.
- Hazmat certification is a plus.
- Minimum of two years of flatbed truck driver experience preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to operate a commercial tractor safely.
- Thorough knowledge of traffic laws and DOT regulations.
