Bushing/Sealant Operator

Job Description:
•tPrepare parts for sealant application as per process instructions
•tApply sealant as per Customer (Drawing) Requirements
•tVerify parts meet process/drawing specifications before they are moved to the next operation
•tSurface treatment of bushings including brush plating (Cadmium, Alodine, Cermatel, etc.)
•tOther work related duties as required
Job Requirements:
•\tAbility to read blueprints (detailed components and assemblies) and understand process specifications.
•\tFamiliar with the use of chemicals as pertaining to surface treatment including sealant application, brush cad, etc..
•\tAbility to identify non-conformances (visual inspection before and after applying sealant).
•\tStrong health and safety awareness (particularly relating to Hazardous materials).
•\tAbility to use hand and machine tools.
•\tProven problem solving skills and experience/exposure to lean manufacturing.
•\tSelf-motivated, Able to set priorities and effectively organize work area.
•\tAble to work with little or no supervision.
•\tProven ability to work well with others in a team environment.
•\tStrong communications skills, both written and verbal a must.
•\tAerospace experience an asset.
