In this role, you will interface with Combatant Command and Intelligence Community counterparts, ensuring maximum collaboration and situational awareness to meet the unique operational and tactical intelligence requirements of Special Operations Forces (SOF). Your expertise will directly contribute to national security and the success of critical missions.
What You’ll Do:
- All-Source Intelligence Analysis: Perform comprehensive all-source intelligence analysis and production, interfacing with Combatant Command and Intelligence Community counterparts to ensure maximum collaboration and situational awareness.
- Operational Intelligence Support: Research, develop, and present intelligence products at the operational level for senior leaders, commanders, and staff. Provide analytic support to Counterterrorism/Violent Extremist Organizations (CT/VEO), Integrated Deterrence, Tactical Combat Operations (TCO), Security Impact Analysis (SIA), Counter Weapons of Mass Destruction (CWMD), and crisis response operations.
- Advanced Analytical Techniques: Demonstrate proficiency in proven analytic techniques, current analytic tools, and the production of high-quality intelligence products, including assessments, finished intelligence reports, papers, and presentations.
- Collaborative Mission Support: Work closely with USSOCOM SOF, national-level intelligence agencies (such as NSA, CIA, or DIA), and other stakeholders to ensure mission success. Some billets will require supporting 24/7 rotational shift hours as the USSOCOM representative during non-duty hours.
- Intelligence Briefings: Prepare and deliver intelligence briefings to senior leaders, including those at the Captain (O-3) / GS-13 level or higher, and potentially at the Colonel (O-6) / GS-15 level or higher.
Qualifications:
- Tactical & Operational Knowledge: Possess knowledge at the tactical and operational levels and be capable of performing all-source intelligence analytic support to Counterterrorism/Violent Extremist Organizations (CT/VEO), Integrated Deterrence, and Tactical Combat Operations (TCO).
- Experience: Minimum of four (4) years of experience as an all-source intelligence analyst within the DoD or equivalent Government agencies.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong working knowledge, understanding, and experience with current all-source analytical techniques, theory, methodologies, processes, and trends. Superior proficiency in utilizing the current suite of all-source intelligence tools.
- Briefing & Writing Skills: Demonstrated experience preparing and delivering intelligence briefings at the Captain (O-3) / GS-13 level or higher, and at the Colonel (O-6) / GS-15 level or higher. Three (3) or more years of experience writing formal finished intelligence assessments such as white papers, targeting packages, or other serialized finished intelligence products.
- Collaborative Expertise: Experience working for or with USSOCOM SOF or national-level intelligence agencies such as NSA, CIA, or DIA.
- Clearance & Readiness: Active TS/SCI clearance, a valid U.S. passport, and the ability to meet visa requirements for travel.
- Partnership: Integral partners with federal defense, intelligence, and civilian leaders to tackle their most important challenges and deliver positive outcomes.

- Operational Flexibility: Be prepared to sit, talk, listen, and frequently walk, use hands, and reach with arms as part of daily job functions.
- Mobility: Occasionally required to stand and lift/move up to 30 pounds. Must complete all medical examinations required for temporary duty or full-time deployment as needed.

AEVEX provides a reasonable range of compensation. Actual compensation is influenced by an array of factors including, but not limited to, skill set, level of experience, and specific location. The range of starting pay for this position is for the listed location only.
Salary Range
$41—$45 USD
