Manufacturing Engineer – Help Build the Future of Aerospace InnovationPDS Tech Commercial is seeking a skilled Manufacturing Engineer to join our team of consultants partnering with a leader in the aerospace industry in Everett, WA. This role places you at the heart of aircraft production, supporting engineering teams and mechanics to ensure efficient, high quality build processes that power some of the most advanced commercial aircraft in the world.
Role SummaryAs a Manufacturing Engineer, you will be immersed in a fast paced, hands on production environment where collaboration and problem solving are essential. You’ll support tooling, producibility, and build planning while working directly on the factory floor to help resolve issues and implement improvements. Your contributions will directly impact aircraft quality, safety, and production efficiency.
Key Responsibilities• Assist in developing and implementing production and tooling methodologies.
• Collaborate within Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) to integrate technical solutions.
• Contribute to conceptual designs and maintain the program architecture for build processes.
• Assist in implementing manufacturing plans and resolving technical issues.
• Support the introduction of new engineering principles, advanced technologies, and innovative concepts.
• Participate in the application of Lean principles across processes and workflows.
• Interface with suppliers, engineering organizations, professional groups, and internal teams to strengthen product knowledge and technical skills.
Typical Day on the Production Floor• Spend up to 8 hours standing or walking within a large scale manufacturing area.
• Climb ladders/stairs and access tight or elevated spaces as needed.
• Work hands on around aircraft parts, equipment, and production tooling.
• Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) and adhere to all safety protocols.
Required Qualifications• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, or Chemistry.
• Experience working in an engineering discipline.
• Experience working in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Ability to work onsite on a highly dynamic production floor.
• Regular and reliable attendance.
Preferred Qualifications• Five or more years of related engineering experience.
• Experience in Electrical or Electronics Engineering.
• Master’s degree or PhD in an engineering classification.

Pay Details: $49.87 per hour
