Job Description
MACHINIST OPERATOR I - BEND

Summary –
Produces bent tubes from raw material using a manual and automated bending machine as well as programming data into computer to meet the blueprint requirements.

Responsibilities –
- Interprets blueprints, work orders, set up sheets, and specifications applicable to specific job. Assures all documentation is accurate specific to job.
- Visual inspection of material to assure conformance.
- Performs machine setups per requirements of blueprint and acquires 1st pc pass.
- Visual inspection of produced parts to assure conformance and no defects.
- Uses measuring tools as well as calculating for any corrections for data.
- Performs Vector process (scanning of bent tube) to assure data meets blueprint reqmts.
- Performs daily check of machine for leaks as well as daily cleaning.
- Maintains daily Quality and Safety standards.

Required Skills -
- Manufacturing experience
- Good math skills

Preferred Skills -
- Previous experience with Bend (helpful, but NOT required)
