RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide effective leadership and coaching to employees to achieve the required quality and productivity goals.
  • Complete performance review ratings, training, discipline, stand-up meetings, and management task for the shift.
  • Provide the shift-to-shift communication link in order to keep all team members working toward the same goals.
  • Repair, service, and maintain equipment as needed at outside vendors, suppliers, customers, and other PCC locations.
  • Responsible for the daily maintenance and repair of production equipment.
  • Troubleshooting of electrical/mechanical/hydraulic problems in a timely manner to minimize downtime of equipment.
  • Schedule, assist, and perform regular preventative maintenance tasks.
  • Repair and maintain other plant equipment as experience indicates.
  • Maintain a positive work atmosphere by communicating in a professional manner with all employees.
  • Observe and enforce all safety requirements required within the facility.
  • Housekeeping and organization as required, as well as other duties as requested by manager, ensuring that all safety requirements are practiced.
  • The ability to handle high stress associated with high activity with tight deadlines.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Able to meet deadlines and be accountable for quality/quantity.
  • Able to work flexible hours with a strong attendance record.
  • Comfortable using a team approach to problem solving.
  • Motivated self-starter with the ability to work independently.
  • Maintain a positive work atmosphere within the maintenance team, supervisors, managers, engineers, and production team.
  • Strongly prefer 5+ years’ maintenance experience with proven track record.
