Job Description:

We currently have an exciting opportunity for the role of Vice President of Emiratization and Government Partnerships, reporting directly to the EVP of Human Resources. As the successful candidate, your primary responsibilities will include developing and implementing strategies to promote Emiratization and strengthen our relationships with government and other external entities in the United Arab Emirates. This role places a strong emphasis on maintaining and enhancing partnerships to ensure strategic alignment and operational excellence.


Job Outline:



  • Lead the Emiratization agenda for the Emirates Group, ensuring clear objectives, `best-in-class solutions, and compliance with government regulations.

  • Develop and implement strategies to attract, retain, and develop Emirati talent within the organization.

  • Lead the Emiratization agenda for Emirates Group by guiding and collaborating with internal stakeholders to align Emiratization initiatives with business goals and objectives.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key government and other external entities to promote collaboration and partnership opportunities.

  • Represent the organization in government meetings, negotiations, and events to advocate for company interests and contribute to policy discussions.

  • Monitor and stay updated on relevant government regulations, policies, and initiatives that impact the organizations operations.

  • Lead, mentor, and develop the Emiratization and Government Relationships team, ensuring high performance and continuous improvement. Foster a collaborative and inclusive team culture that promotes excellence and accountability.

  • Lead and oversee the Emirates Group Youth Council to drive initiatives and represent the Group in internal and external forums.

  • Lead and design unique programs to support our workforce planning strategy for UAE Nationals across all levels of the Emirates Group.

  • Carry out an annual analysis of UAE National talent within our workforce, identifying unique business areas and opportunities for growth and development of UAE Nationals. Strategically plan and design innovative programs in collaboration with government bodies and entities to bolster Emiratisation effort.


Job Requirements:

Qualifications:



  • Degree or Honours (12+3 or equivalent): Degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, or a related field.

  • Professional HR certification (e.g., CIPD, SHRM) is preferred. 


Experience :



  • Human Resources.Other : 12+ Years

  • Experience in Human Resources, preferable in a leadership role with exposure to Emiratization and government relations.


Knowledge/skills:  



  • In-depth knowledge of Emiratization policies, regulations, and initiatives in the United Arab Emirates.

  • Experience in the designing and leading Emiratisation programs 

  • Strong network of connections with government officials and other entities.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

  • Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute effective Emiratization strategies.

  • Team player with strong leadership and management skills.
