PAL Aerospace is currently looking for a Training Manager for our Curacao, Netherlands Antilles base. The Curacao base supports the operations of two fully equipped Dash-8 aircraft in maritime surveillance configuration.

In a position of Training Manager, your duties and responsibilities will include but are not limited to;

• Responsible as Pilot-in-Command for carrying out specific duties in connection with the operation of the aircraft;
• Fulfill Aircraft Captain duties as assigned;
• Completion of Flight Planning and other preparations for the flight;
• Work in small teams;
• Work on call;
• Carry out training events and flights both in simulator and aircraft;
• Manage ground and air training requirements;
• Work in dynamic and often changing missions and circumstances;
• Carry out multiple operations to include Maritime patrol, Law enforcement, Anti-Narcotics, Search and Rescue and Disaster Relief; 
• Deploy to other locations within the Caribbean and within the Dutch Caribbean Coast Guard Area of Operations;
• Act as Operations Team Representative as required
• Other duties as assigned.  Qualifications:
• 3000 hours Total Time required
• 1000 hours on type or similar turbine
• Pilot license (ATPL)
• 1000 hours multi-engine
• 1000 hours PIC would be an asset 
• 1000 Hours MPA would be considered an asset
• Valid Dash 8 PPC would be an asset
• Training experience would be an asset
• Experience with Curacao operations would be an asset
• Demonstrated analytical and decision-making skills
• Demonstrated teamwork and interpersonal skills
• Valid passport as candidates are required to travel internationally
• Must be able to obtain required security clearances
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office suite of products.
