AirNet II, a full service 14CFR part 145 aircraft repair station located in Columbus, Ohio who understands the vital importance of expert timely service and aircraft maintenance is looking for a Stockroom Manager.

Schedule:

  • Day Shift
  • 5 Days, 8 hours days

Functions/Responsibilities:

The Manager of the stores has responsibilities including purchasing, repair and storage of spare parts, and supervision of the store’s personnel.


The Stockroom Manager personnel duties and responsibilities consist of and include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • The Manager of Stores reports directly to the Director of Maintenance
  • The Manager of Stores oversees the Stockroom and Stores personnel.
  • Shipping and receiving of packages
  • Filling Maintenance Technician parts requests
  • Be aware of suspected unapproved parts
  • Ensuring that all parts handling is done in accordance with the repair station policies, procedures, appropriate technical data, FAA regulations and good aircraft practices
  • Required to ensure that employees under your direction are provided the training, tools, and equipment necessary to perform their assigned tasks in the safest possible manner, and within the standards of the Occupational Safety and Health organization with legal authority at the location at which those employees are working
  • Ensure purchasing, and shipping/receiving personnel are trained to use applicable company software, forklift operation, HazMat shipping, and safety practices
  • Manage Purchasing, and Shipping/Receiving personnel to ensure their time is utilized efficiently and effectively
  • Ensure that appropriate records are complete and accurate
  • Manage and approve purchase order/repair costs on a daily basis
  • Assist the Director of Maintenance in developing policies, procedures, instructions, and information for the processes associated with Aircraft parts and Material Control
  • Formulate procedures and documentation for processing of parts, supplies, and equipment
  • Prepare reports/data as required by the Director of Maintenance
  • Analyze costs and operating efficiencies in all Stores Departments
  • Ensures the proper handling and preservation of all parts/equipment during the shipping and receiving process
  • Provide and control inventory, equipment, and supplies at line stations
  • Maintain and organize files for orders, parts movement, and purchase requisitions
  • Ensure tagging, preserving, proper storage, and security of parts in accordance with the Repair Station manual.
  • Ensure that the subordinate duties of positions under your control are performed in the absence of designated personnel
  • Coordinate with Inspection Department for all parts/equipment receiving inspection requirements
  • Ensure that items have been inspected and properly tagged
  • Ensure that all AirNet II required stores forms are properly completed and filed.
  • Ensure that all aircraft parts are properly located in the stockroom areas
  • Provide surveillance over all borrowed and loaned material to ensure prompt return by AirNet II, and that loaned material is returned to AirNet II
  • Maintains and monitor stores training manual to ensure it is current and accessible.
  • Keeps all stores areas organized and clean
  • Ensure shelf-life programs are adhered to
  • Any other duties assigned by the Director of Maintenance
Requirements

Education / Requirements:

  • Must have a minimum of 3 years diversified experience in maintenance of fixed wing civil aircraft, a valid A&P License, or Repairman Certificate, and a minimum of 1 year experience on specific company aircraft, or 2 years pervious experience on same type aircraft. 
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
  • Must be dependable, punctual, and flexible.
  • Must have and maintain a current driver’s license.
