Senior Project Professional

Morson are recruiting a Senior Project Professional for a leading Defence Client, this is a hybrid role at their site in Warton.

Job Description

You will be working within our Project Control organisation to support our Middle East (KSA) customers’ fleet.

You will be part of a team of professionals using world-class project control techniques, providing expertise to support the Project Managers in the delivery of large, high value, technically complex and strategically important programmes.

Core duties

• Maintaining and co-oordinating KSA Typhoon Support Project Control within the UK PCO.
• Representing the contract team in cost performance discussions with the SDU.
• Analysing project information to enable early identification of problems and then implementing mitigation actions.
• Lead the integration of contract closure across the PCO for UK deliverables and commitments.
• Engagement with Eurofighter to progress closure of legacy SSS contracts.
• Supporting the identification and management of risks and opportunities.

Knowledge

• Excellent Excel skills including, but not limited to, writing and understanding nested formulas, VLookups, pivot tables and charts.
• Experience of CSR-type reporting.
• Ability to analyse and produce monthly and quarterly status report derived from multiple data sources.

Qualifications

• Experience of working in middle eastern markets
• Operated a project control system to define progress & identify programme performance issues
• Demonstrable experience or understanding of risk, opportunity and change management

 Recognising the restricted nature of the work  there is a requirement for the candidate to be eligible to obtain Security Clearance for this role.
