The opportunity

We are seeking a talented Integrated Support Planning and Management - Contract Deliverable Focal, this role executes significant elements of the integrated support program activities to establish and or follow-on programs to include contract deliverables, support system analysis, spares, provisioning, technical data, training maintenance/modifications, support equipment and facilities. Leads plans and schedules development and supports trade studies for support programs for multiple platforms and systems. Coordinates engineering change proposals and baseline support concepts and challenges inconsistencies for clarification.

The role will be based in our Brisbane office, and working within the Battlespace Communications Franchise will deliver significant elements of the integrated support program activities for new and fielded battlespace communications systems.

The role requires interaction with a broad range of stakeholders involved in the support of the Battlespace Communications Franchise including internal BDA, CoA and Prime Contract staff. and, accordingly, the successful candidate will possess the following attributes:

Responsibilities

A Boeing Support Planning & Management Specialist may be required to perform the following tasks:

  • Leads and executes significant elements of the integrated support program activities. Validates deliverables per contract requirements. Develops and monitors performance metrics and initiates corrective action.
  • Leads integrated support activities for established or follow-on program. Develops task rationales and basis of estimates for multiple platforms and systems. Develops proposal technical documentation and schedules. Provides responses to request for proposal and develops requests for information and resolution. Performs parametric analysis and makes recommendations. Performs customer fact finding and provides technical background in support of contract negotiations.
  • Identifies required technical information and processes to develop and maintain support products, engineering data and integrated support infrastructure. Coordinates between organizations and develops and implements support products.
  • Coordinates engineering change proposals and baseline support concepts and challenges inconsistencies for clarification. Validates estimates, analyzes for cost and scope impact. Conducts sustainment impact reviews and makes recommendations.
  • Responds to customer inquiries and documents issues. Coordinates responses and verifies resolution. Assists in the development of the customer contact plan.

Experience/Qualifications

  • Logistics Support - Extensive, specialized knowledge of integrated logistic support systems, processes, and applications. Subject matter expert for logistics support for the department and the organisation.
  • Demonstrated experience in the delivery of contracted integrated support program activities.
  • Proficiency in interpreting, manipulating, and analyzing complex support system data.
  • Familiarity with Defence logistics data sources (CAMM2/NetMAARS, MILIS, LSAR) highly desirable but not essential.
  • Applicants must be Australian Citizens to meet defence security requirements.
