Compliance Program Oversight
•In partnership with the VP, Legal, Compliance and Risk Management, lead a comprehensive and effective compliance program that ensures business is conducted with integrity and adheres to relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards, including contractual commitments.
•Work closely with business stakeholders to foster a culture of compliance and continuous improvement of compliance controls to ensure effectiveness
•Lead, mentor, and develop the compliance team to support the organization’s objectives Oversee reporting hotline and response process, in partnership with Sr. Compliance analyst
•Oversee permitting and licensing in partnership with owners and Sr. Compliance analyst
•Stay abreast of and advise on evolving regulatory trends, emerging risks, and customer expectations, and provide regular updates to company leadership and stakeholders
•Coordinate with stakeholders to develop and implement risk mitigation strategies and action plans to address emerging risks
•Coordinate with risk area owners to develop, update, and communicate compliance policies and procedures
Internal Audit/Monitoring
•Develop and lead the internal audit process, including with third-party auditors, to identify areas of potential vulnerability or areas for improvement
•Develop corrective action plans for addressing compliance gaps, implement mitigation strategies, and monitor implementation and adherence
•Define and oversee tools required to support compliance monitoring, document management, policy enforcement, vendor risk tracking, and audit readiness
•Establish and maintain incident response frameworks and business continuity plans as it relates to compliance
Training and Development
•Oversee training development and delivery to employees across the company
•Oversee implementation of training update schedule, completions tracking, and audience identification process
Compliance Reporting and Documentation
•Prepare regular reports for VP, Legal, Compliance and Risk Management, Executive Leadership team, and other relevant stakeholders on ethics and compliance initiatives across the organization and other compliance metrics.
