The Production Supervisor will lead and coach in a dynamic operations environment to support our organization. In this role, the Production Supervisor will provide direction to skilled employees, leading employee engagement and continuous improvement efforts guided by our Roadmap and Control Tower objectives. The Production Supervisor will lead sustained improvements in safety, quality, production, material procurement, and cost reduction through the system’s various elements critical to the business success.

What You Will Do:

• Plans, designs, and executes activities directly related to the physical creation of products and the functional operation of facilities; oversees production operations (shop floor management, workforce management, and flow disruption management), maintenance, plant engineering, scheduling, and personnel.

• Performs professional or management work regularly across multiple Manufacturing disciplines. Includes activities that cannot be attributed to a defined Operations discipline.

• Manages cell productivity and guides scheduling, sequencing of work, and production innovation to optimize production.

• Ensures all quality-related items for multiple cells or complex cells are complete and documented to meet established quality standards.

• Guides cost reduction and process improvement in multiple cells or a complex cell to ensure the efficiency of operations and cost-effectiveness.

Qualifications You Must Have: 

• Bachelors Degree and 2 or more years experience in a engineering, manufacturing, operations management, production, program/project management or quality environment or an Associates degree and 4 or more years experience in a engineering, manufacturing, operations management, production, program/project management or quality environment

• In absence of a degree, 6 or more years experience in a engineering, manufacturing, operations management, production, program/project management or quality environment

• U.S. Person or eligible to obtain necessary export authorizations required.

Qualifications We Prefer:

• ​SAP user experience

• Leadership experience with specialized knowledge, or technical/operational practices, and/or shop environment experience

• Continuous improvement certificates/training such as 6 Sigma practitioner/Professional certification

• Experience with Environmental Health & Safety principles

• Experience in MS Office applications, specifically MS PowerPoint and Excel

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance workers, as they are essential to the development of our engines.

Candidates will learn more about role type and current site status throughout the recruiting process. For onsite and hybrid roles, commuting to and from the assigned site is the employee’s personal responsibility.

The salary range for this role is 64,000 USD - 128,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
