Our Goleta, CA facility has an opening for a Production Associate Senior in B03 clean room facility. The position is for the alignment lab of Sensor Chip Arrays (SCA) to Platforms. You will have a knowledge of mechanical skills, microscope use, personal protection equipment (PPE), and epoxies, adhesives, or chemicals such as IPA or Acetone. All work will be conducted inside a clean room lab with full gown suits, ESD straps, and with frequent use of computer applications such as Microsoft Office.
This is an on site role for a Day Shift – 7:00am – 3:30pm – Goleta, CA.
What You Will Do
- Take daily direction from Tier meetings, Supervisor, and Leads or their delegates.
- Work in a clean room environment with full gowning.
- Use computers to load work instructions and record entries.
- Perform alignment functions with attention to extreme detail using microscopes.
- Clean daily using chemicals and gases such as acetone or carbon dioxide.
- Align product with tooling jigs using basic hand tools.
Qualifications You Must Have
- Typically requires a High School Diploma or AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
Qualifications We Prefer
- Experience with Microsoft Office, or computer applications.
- Experience with any form of personal protection equipment such as gloves or safety glasses (PPE).
- Previous experience working in a Laboratory or Clean Room.
- Any experience with risk mitigation efforts such as foreign object debris/damage (FOD) prevention.
- Experience with industrial microscopes up to the 20X level.
- Experience with small microelectronic builds using precision tooling jigs.
