Summary of Job Purpose:
-tResponsible for execution of the production schedule and general supervision of assigned technicians.
-tMotivate, Hire, develop and lead their employees. Responsible for execution of shop cross-training plan.
-tResolve, Handle the day-to-day operations issues. Support Technicians during the performance of duties.
-tCoordinate with Master Scheduler and other departments on order status.
-tProposing improvements to workflow to enhance performance.
-tMaintain quality and safety standards in the shop.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Supervise assigned Repair Shop technicians performing tests and repairs on aviation units per FAA requirements and in accordance with component maintenance manual (CMM) requirements.
-tEnsure that schedule set by the master scheduler is executed. Handle issues, communicate and coordinate solutions.
-tManaging technicians time, training, attendance and labor utilization
-tTrain and motivate employees in their work standards.
-tSupervise everyday working of department operating process and increase efficiency of workers.
-tRecommend methods to improve production efficiencies. Work to improve and develop processes to reduce cycle time.
-tLead and implement approved continuous improvement ideas identified by employees
-tComply with all safety, health and environmental regulations as prescribed by law, companys policies and regulations requirements. Pro-active in the Safran HSE standards and procedures within their daily work, staying alert to potential safety hazards when learning or implementing something new (skills and/or equipment).
-tEnsure that the work order information available in the ERP are correct and up to date
-tEnsure quality and promote efficient operations of the line. Adherence to all quality standards and strong focus on customer satisfaction.
-tEnsure that all repair supplies (equipment means, benches) are on hand for what is scheduled.
-tEnsure the materials needed for repair are within standard guidelines and procedures and ensure compliance with those procedures.
-tConduct meetings on a regular basis with all team members under his/her supervision.
-tAccountability for confidential and/or sensitive information that could lead to damage to the reputation and/or competitive posture of SEDA

Job Requirements:

Education / Experience:
-\tHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED) and three (3) years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
-\tBachelor's Degree in related field preferred.
-\tMust have minimum 18 months of aviation experience for FAA requirements
-\t2-5 years of supervisory/leadership experience: good interpersonal skills required
-\tBasic level – Microsoft Office: Outlook, Word, Excel
-\tKnowledge of Lean.

Physical Requirements:
