What you need to do this role
A strong HR background in regulated environments is essential, with experience in people management and performance in fast-paced settings. You should excel in prioritisation, demonstrate resilience, and drive employee engagement.
Proficiency in MS Office tools, including Outlook and Excel, is essential. You must have experience delivering performance through KPIs, especially in employee engagement. Strong written and verbal communication skills, along with the ability to manage face-to-face interactions confidently, are key to success. Experience with HR policies and unionised environments, including interactions with union members, is required. This is a full-time, office-based role at Newcastle Airport, working 40 hours per week. The schedule is 5 days out of 7, which may include weekends and evenings. While the role is non-flying, it may occasionally involve business travel.
