THE WORK

As a Supervisor at Sikorsky, you will be at the heart of our operations, driving the success of our production and support activities. Your role involves:
Overseeing the day-to-day operations of one or more shifts or functions, ensuring the smooth and efficient execution of tasks.
Training and developing your team to ensure high performance, adherence to safety protocols, and compliance with operational standards.
Managing costs and labor hours to ensure financial efficiency and meet budgetary goals.
Implementing continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality, reduce costs, and increase throughput.
Coordinating recruitment, training, performance assessments, and work assignments.
Leading a team of 20-50 hourly employees to achieve monthly deliverables and financial commitments.

Basic Qualifications:
2-3 years leadership experience as manager or team lead
5+ years of relevant experience
• Be able to manage multiple priorities and be flexible
• Strong influencing skills
• Must be able to lead a team and manage/resolve employee conflict
• Good at following and creating procedures
• Operate in a team environment
• Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills for use at all levels of the organization.
Desired Skills:
• Advanced abilities with Microsoft Office products, SAP, Solumina
• Previous experience working with represented employees
• Experience in aerospace industry
• Previous Sikorsky experience

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
