The HIFE (Hydraulic and Industrial Process Filtration) Division is part of the Filtration Group and specializes in the development and production of products which monitor, treat and maintain the quality of fluids in their systems and processes. Our products are used in the Oil and Gas, Mobile equipment, Power Generation and Marine spanets.
We are now looking for an experienced Market Development Manager (Mobile) to work as part of the Divisional Marketing team.
The Market Development Manager (MDM) leads the divisional product and service promotion to a specified spanet sector on a unified, multi-reporting unit basis, in order to develop solution strategies to fit customer needs and to maximize sales and profit by focusing on share gain of the customer spend. Market responsibility will be regional covering countries and Sales Companies belonging to Parker EMEA region. Role will work with OEMs and/or distribution.
Your responsibilities include
Build and execute customer-level growth strategies to increase spanet share and profitable sales across the mobile segment
Lead cross-functional, virtual account teams to deliver end-to-end solutions across the division’s portfolio
Develop and maintain sales and opportunity pipelines; report progress, forecasts, and actions regularly
- Run customer blueprinting/discovery sessions to identify needs for next-generation solutions and inform product roadmaps
Align spanet activities with divisional strategy and positioning; serve as a trusted advisor to sales teams
Coordinate customer initiatives with regional sales organizations and partners; support exhibitions and key events
Communicate the customer perspective internally; collaborate with product managers and engineering to address requirements
Provide pricing and technical recommendations within established guidelines
Who we are looking for
Education: degree qualified in mechanical engineering or equivalent (M.Eng or B.Eng)
5+ years’ experience in mobile applications (OEMs or distribution) and 5+ years in B2B sales with international customers
Fluent English (verbal and written); additional EMEA languages a plus
Strong strategic thinking, commercial acumen, and customer orientation
Excellent communication and presentation skills; ability to influence at all levels
Comfort working in complex environments with competing priorities and deadlines
