Description:The Deputy Center Manager for Sensor Integration Test Center (SITC) will be responsible for leading Mission Area Managers in production of hardware for the Center, and will report to the Sr. Manager of SITC (Center Manager). Current mission areas include Apache and Targeted Sight Systems (TSS), F-35 Electronic Optical Targeting System (EOTS) and Common Optics Processing Cell (COPC), Fabrication Operations, Classified Operations and Sniper Advanced Targeting Pod (ATP). This position will have direct responsibility for the manufacturing staff and will also direct the daily activities of the Functional support staff in the absence of the Center Manager.

Candidates must have direct leadership experience in a complex manufacturing environment and be able to balance multiple program priorities through a common manufacturing facility. This position will work closely with the SITC Center Manger and Sr. Staff and will be accountable for planning labor and equipment capacity, including management of the capital investment required to execute the planned business. Other responsibilities include recruiting and training of the technician and supervision staff in a Collective Bargaining Agreement (union) environment, leadership of the Corrective Action Board (CAB) in the absence of the Center Manager, management of the continuous improvement process through the use of Lean Manufacturing concepts, SITC performance to safety, quality, schedule, technical and cost targets.

The successful candidate must demonstrate the ability to lead and motivate a workforce with diverse technical skills. The ideal candidate will have a proven record of leadership in a manufacturing environment.

Basic Qualifications:
Must be a US Citizen and have the ability to obtain a Secret security clearance

Proven leadership and ability to meet/exceed commitments in a large Manufacturing & Final Assembly factory

Program EAC experience

Overhead management experience

Lean Six Sigma knowledge

Ability to motivate & drive strategy through multiple layers of leadership in a fast paced dynamic environment

Ability to effectively communicate at all layers of leadership and with individual contributors in and outside of a Production floor environment
Desired Skills:
SITC experience
Lean Six Sigma Black Belt or Green Belt
Experience in the Defense Industry & with DCMA
OLDP / POLI Graduates
Industrial Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering degree.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
