 Remote Work:

This position is a hybrid remote work role, requiring work at the Calgary Campus (22 Aerial Place NE, Calgary) a minimum of 3 days per week.

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Loyalty Analytics Technical Lead to join our team. In this role, you will lead the technical strategy and execution of our loyalty analytics initiatives, driving insights and solutions that enhance customer engagement and loyalty. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to leverage data, develop analytical models, and implement advanced analytics tools to optimize our loyalty programs.

Key deliverables include: 

  • Lead the design, development, and implementation of loyalty analytics solutions.
  • Oversee the technical architecture of loyalty analytics platforms and ensure their scalability and efficiency
  • Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and engineers to develop and refine predictive models and algorithms
  • Analyze customer behavior and loyalty program performance to identify trends, insights, and areas for improvement
  • Work with marketing, product, and customer experience teams to translate analytics findings into actionable strategies
  • Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and security in all loyalty analytics processes
  • Develop and maintain documentation for analytics processes, models, and tools
  • Mentor and guide team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in loyalty analytics and data science

Experience and qualifications: 

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in analytics, data science, or a related technical field, with a focus on customer loyalty or marketing analytics
  • Strong Customer Loyalty acumen with the ability to think “big picture” and translate analytical findings into business strategies
  • Proven experience in leading technical teams and managing complex analytics projects
  • Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python and SQL are required
  • Hands-on experience with Snowflake for data warehousing, analytics, and app development
  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
  • Expertise in statistical modeling, machine learning, and predictive analytics
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with driving customer-centric insights is an asset
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
