Position: Lead Inspector - Peru, IN

Job Description:
Aircraft Inspections: Conduct incoming checks (before stripping), post-strip (metal/damage), primer application (thickness/coverage), logo/stencil placement, and final paint (runs, sags, debris, color, gloss).
Technical Documentation: Interpret and apply blueprints, drawings, process specs, and technical manuals to daily inspections.
Team Leadership: Train, mentor, and onboard new inspectors and technicians.
Process Adherence: Design and follow daily inspection schedules, guiding complex maintenance checks.
Quality Assurance: Verify work against customer requirements, approve/reject work, and manage defect documentation.
Stakeholder Communication: Address stakeholder questions and maintain stakeholder satisfaction.
Essential Skills & Knowledge
Deep understanding of aviation coating processes (stripping, priming, painting).
Ability to read and apply complex technical drawings and specifications.
Strong quality control fundamentals (thickness, gloss, visual defects).
Leadership and training capabilities.
Familiarity with relevant aerospace standards (ISO, NACE - likely applicable for industrial coatings).
