Information Technology Support Administrator (ITSA) / Assistant Manager – Remote Role
This is a full-time Salary exempt Remote Role.

The Information Technology Support Administrator (ITSA) reports to the V2X Secondary Reparable (SecRep) Program I.T. Manager and is responsible for ensuring that all IT related needs of the SecRep Program are addressed to ensure the highest level of US Government (USG) customer support on a daily and ongoing basis. The ITSA will also support the identification and implementation of process changes to improve support to the USG customer.
The IT system being managed (FORCE Logistics System – a Maximo product) provides control and accountability of USG assets throughout the maintenance process and provides 100 accuracy, availability, and accountability. FLS interfaces with the Marine Corps Enterprise Network (MCEN), possesses an authority-to-operate (ATO), and provides program status through near real-time visibility of products in the maintenance cycle, warranty status, property control, contract compliance and financial status. FLS is fully integrated to Global Combat Support System-Marine Corps (GCSS-MC) and Procurement Integrate Enterprise Environment (PIEE). FLS is a USG property compliant system and complies with Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA) Property Management System Analysis risk assessments and measurements for successful outcomes of USG property management.
FLS provides a user portal that is accessible using any industry-standard web browser. Users can access pre-existing reports supporting current operations specifically designed for the SecRep program, historical data, a program dashboard and near real-time financial data (customer checkbook).
As the Assistant Manager to the IT Manager , the ITSA supports information customers to include V2X Program Staff, the USG Contracting Officer, Program Manager, Contracting Officer Representative, and Contracting Officer Technical Representative for contract administration and management. Also, USG finance personnel who manage funds to meet requirements are information customers. Information customers also include potential end users for information relating to status of their products in the maintenance cycle, and who are inquiring about the program. The ITSA must also possess the following skills:
1. Programmer: Code writer dealing with Oracle, PL/SQL development skills, Oracle database and SQL Developer, Java Script, Python, Linux Shell Script, and Tableau Dashboard development.
2. Maximo Development and Administrator to include:
- Automation scripting (either Jython/Python and/or JavaScript)
- Escalations
- Communication templates
- Actions
- Maximo Integration Framework
- Application design
- Conditional Expressions
- Relationships
- Database Configuration
- Application Design
- Domains
- Maximo security (groups and users)
- Roles
- System properties
- Birt Developer experience (reporting tool -- software uploaded to Maximo)
- Strong Troubleshooting skills
3. Application Back End: Skilled in the use of Windows OS, Linux OS, WebSphere, Tableau server and IIS Server/ Tableau Server install, upgrades, and maintenance.
4. Application Front End: Skilled in Maximo information customer/end-user focused design and customization, user interface (to include portal, dashboard, reports), supporting user requests, converting user requests into design requirements, and ensuring timely and satisfactory completion of those requirements. Finally, the ITSM must demonstrate competence in coordinating with development team/support personnel to perform these designs and customization when additional resources are required and approved by V2X program leadership.
Required Education:
*The ITSA must have at least five years of experience and possess a High School degree or have three years of experience with a bachelors degree.
