As IT Manager – Factory Tech you will be a part of the Technology team at our Global Headquarters in Fort Worth, TX. Bell is in the process of a significant business transformation activity. The selected candidate is expected to lead the organization in the creation of business-critical technology solutions in support of modernizing & supporting Manufacturing Systems, Engineering, and other related technologies.
What you’ll be doing as an IT Manager – Factory Tech:
- Lead the team that implements and supports IT and software services that increase productivity of Manufacturing Systems, with a focus on existing factory modernization.
- Be responsible for strategic business partnering activities with various Manufacturing functions, plus coordination on sustainment activities.
- Pursue team growth with a startup mentality, quick successes in creating business value at our manufacturing sites leading to more investment.
- Understand IT, vendor, and internal and external customer organizational structure to manage relationships for the area assigned.
- Communicate internally and externally regarding status and future vision.
- Direct professional and technical development for assigned personnel.
- Manage and direct 3rd party services and resources.
- Work with the other major IT programs (MES upgrade, PLM upgrade, Future Factory, Supply Chain teams, etc) to continuously coordinate & align on goals, key decisions, and impacts to IT roadmap.
- Ensure the team provides appropriate and compliant shop floor systems (Cyber Security, IT auditable processes, etc).
- Analyze program Functional, Allocated, Initial Product, and Product baselines in shop floor and enterprise systems like SAP for compliance to industry and organization standards.
- Analyze (with Engineering) the program Features in the team backlog and their related data and documentation elements.
