The HR Manager is an individual who is efficient and can multi-task. We prioritize our employees and believe in fostering a positive and inclusive work environment. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Human Resources Manager to join our team and help us continue to retain and develop top talent. You will play a critical role in supporting the companys strategic objectives by managing HR policies and programs that promote employee engagement and foster a healthy workplace.

Job Duties:

Administers company-wide human resources policies, procedures, and practices in accordance with corporate objectives and federal and state legal requirements. 

Cultivate a culture of inclusivity and belonging where every voice is heard, respected, and valued.

Lead by example, providing mentorship, guidance, and support to managers and employees alike.

Serve as a trusted advisor and advocate for our employees, ensuring their voices are heard and their needs are met.

Embrace diversity, equity, and inclusion as core pillars of our organization, driving meaningful change from within.

Promotes positive employee relations through design, communication, and interpretation of human resources policies and programs. 

Coordinates exit interview process and communication of findings to management. 

Analyzes data, prepares reports, and makes recommendations on a variety of human resources issues. 

Assists with the onboarding process, performance appraisal process, compensation management, unemployment claims, diversity, and benefit programs. 

Responds to inquiries regarding policies, procedures, and programs. 

Coordinates employee-relations activities and programs including but not limited to employee counseling, interpretation of policies, new employee orientation, and employee recognition programs. 

Manages HR records and systems, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.

Keeps abreast of HR trends and best practices and recommends improvements to HR policies and procedures.

Becomes a SME in the HRIS platform.

Manages the Leave of Absence process for all employees.

Perform special assignments or projects as required.

Requirements

       

REQUIREMENTS:

Expert knowledge of HR laws and regulations in California. 

Unwavering commitment to integrity, ethics, and confidentiality.

Oversee & Administer California Regulatory Reporting.

Must have experience with a variety of HRIS platforms.

Ability to effectively communicate with people at all levels and from various backgrounds.

Guide and Coach, having the ability to influence management when appropriate. 

Assist with Employee Investigations/Employee relations.

Understands the organizations value proposition and can articulate fundamentals of business and how the units tie together. 

Able to champion new ideas, manage change, and execute on action plans. 

Experience in all HR concentration areas such as benefits; compensation; workforce planning and employment; employee relations; occupational health, safety, and security; strategic management; employee development; and training. 

Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills. 

Strong business acumen. 

Strategic thinker who can see long-term goals and balance against short and intermediate term needs. 

Ability to work independently and as a member of various teams and committees. 

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

Ability to prepare reports and company-wide business correspondence. 

Ability to deal effectively with a diversity of individuals at all organizational levels. 

Good judgement with the ability to make timely and sound decisions. 

Creative, flexible, and innovative team player. 

Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 

Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm.

Able to travel among stations in CA, AK, AZ, CO and other areas as needed.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) or equivalent, five to eight years related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience. A master’s degree is preferred. 

The expected annual compensation for this role is $90,000 but could vary up or down depending on location of candidate, experience and education.
