Purpose of Position
The Ground Safety Program Manager assists the Director, Ground Safety in managing the NetJets Ground Safety Programs Nationwide to include the identification of trends, hazard mitigation procedures, strategies, and joint oversight of safety programs such as the Maintenance Aviation Safety Action Program (MASAP) and other safety programs as assigned.The Ground Safety Program Manager has a shared responsibility for the safety oversight and leadership in the NetJets Columbus Repair Station, Base Stations, Service Hubs, Line Stations, FBOs and on-location for NetJets Special Events.This position assists the Director, Ground Safety with recommendations on minimizing the risks involved in NetJets ground and flight operations nationwide.

Tasks and Responsibilities
  • Performs safety audits on Maintenance Providers and FBOs to ensure safety and compliance standards, and analysis of findings for communication to executive leadership.
  • Assists in the development and analysis of relevant ground safety related metrics to identify trends and safety program to recognize hazards to solve complex problems.
  • Assists Safety Investigations Team to determine root cause of events and recommends best practices to mitigate future occurrences and reduce risk in the operation.
  • Leads cross functional teams and collaborates with various departments of the NetJets Maintenance Team (i.e., QA, QC, Training) to address and mitigate risk identified in the operation.
  • Helps lead the Ground Event Working Group to implement strategies among all NetJets ground teams to manage risk and enhance safety.
  • Participate in FBO and Maintenance partnership meetings to address internal/external risk in the operation to reduce events and further enhance safety within the industry.
  • Maintains a cordial and professional relationship with internal and external customers.

Education
Bachelor's in Business Administration or Aviation Management

Certifications and Licenses
FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P)
