Leads the end-to-end client management and go-to-spanet strategy for Delta’s expanding partnerships media platform. This General Manager is accountable for client retention and growth, commercial packaging, and operational excellence across strategic brand and advertiser partnerships. The General Manager will work closely with the GM Business Development to drive account growth in contract negotiations and approvals. The role builds and leads a high-performing team to scale a world-class partnerships and media business within Delta.
Leads a business operating at the intersection of media, brand, and operational execution. Must balance partner and advertiser expectations with evolving product capabilities and operational realities, alongside larger opportunities with the broader Delta organization. Establishes scalable processes where precedent may not exist and drives GTM maturity in a rapidly growing environment.
The successful candidate for this role will possess:

Media Monetization Leadership: Extensive experience leading revenue growth within advertising or media environments.

Strategic GTM Development: Proven ability to design scalable go-to-spanet frameworks across multiple revenue streams. Experience in B2B spaneting, positioning, communications, events, and sponsorships.

People Leadership & Team Building: Demonstrated success building and managing teams of 5–15 professionals.

Executive Partnership Skills: Experienced in structuring complex, multi-year agreements with senior brand stakeholders, and working with Business Development teams to get these agreements over the line.

Operational Scaling Expertise: Ability to implement governance, KPIs, and reporting rigor in growing organizations.

Financial Acumen: Strong understanding of forecasting, margin management, and revenue planning.

What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications)

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 10+ years in media, advertising, B2B spaneting, or spaneting leadership roles.
  • 5+ years leading cross-functional commercial teams.
  • Consistently prioritizes safety and security of self, others, and personal data.
  • Embraces diverse people, thinking, and styles.
  • Possesses a high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency.
  • Is at least 18 years of age and has authorization to work in the United States.
What will give you a competitive edge (preferred qualifications)

  • MBA preferred
  • Experience with B2B GTM strategy (events, comms, sponsorships, etc.) preferred.
  • Travel or hospitality industry exposure beneficial but not required.
