The Material Managed Programs (MMP)  Managers are responsible for all material management activities to support the customer and ensure that both material and contractual requirements are met to in support of both the customer and F100 fleet of engines.  Will also be asked to mentor junior personnel supporting the program. Expectation is to lead, direct, and guide individuals in current role as well as career progression.

You will be the primary materials interface for our international customer. The key function in this role is to support the international customer spare part forecast through an active Material Management Program and future Contract opportunities utilizing SAP, Forecasting and Reporting functions.  Strong analytical skills, ability to learn new systems quickly, capability to prioritize daily tasks, and ability to work independently under pressure on multiple projects are all critical to success in this role.

What You Will Do:

  • Interface with internal and external organizations and customers to communicate and prepare for successful material alignment, strategic material sourcing, material expediting, and export compliance for international shipments.
  • Material Management with experience in forecasting, schedule alignment and contract execution as well as the ability and track record of leading cross-functional teams, special projects, ACE/CORE improvement initiatives
  • High level understanding of customer’s critical pacing material, Pratt & Whitney supplier capacity constraints.
  • Manage contract requirements and inventory levels in SAP required to support customer production schedule and trend customer scrap rates to ensure alignment with forecast.
  • Review materials corresponding Export Control Classification Numbers (ECCN), assign corresponding export licenses, to ensure Global Trade Compliance are strictly adhered to for all exports.

Qualifications You Must Have:                                                                                     

  • BS or BA in Business or Supply Chain or related field with a minimum of 8+ years of Business Supply Chain or Customer service/Program Management required; or an advanced degree with a minimum of 5+ years of relevant experience.
  • Data Analysis – 5+ years of strong ability to not only collect data but to be use this to develop plans and or solutions to complex problems and ability to then present this data to the associated organizations in a clear and concise manner.
  • 5+ years of strong Excel/PowerPoint skills are a necessity
  • ​Must be a U.S. Citizen. This position may require access to systems/tools that are restricted to individuals who possess US citizenship

         

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • SAP Power user with customer service experience preferred.
  • Program Management background / experience is a plus.
  • Proficiency in data reduction programs and experience with Qlik and Power BI is a plus

The salary range for this role is 96,000 USD - 200,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
