The Edison Works Digital Technology team is focused on contemporizing today’s business processes with sustainable enterprise software solutions, thus enabling strategic business process transformation. This role is responsible for partnering with our business organization to drive internal transformation of the how we work by enabling a foundational platform of enterprise software solutions across multiple business disciplines. As the pivotal role in leading this transformation, you will focus on partnering across the GE Aerospace and Edison Works teams to deliver Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and Manufacturing Operations Management (MOM) digital solutions that enable the transition of Edison Works advanced program products into production operations.

This role must be performed onsite in Evendale, OH.

Job Description

In this role, you will:

  • Lead a matrixed team of project managers and technical software engineers to define, deliver, and sustain robust and scalable enterprise software solutions across multiple simultaneous business initiatives.
  • Drive the project management, planning, and execution of a long cycle product portfolio that enables Edison Works business to enable Supply Chain and Order to Remittance (OTR) capabilities.
  • Execute in phased deliverables across multiple years with initial priorities focused on Manufacturing Operations Management product growth, and Enterprise Resource Planning product requirements. Key area of focus will be leading blueprinting capabilities with business teams for the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) program.
  • Formulate and execute a clear, strategic vision while balancing multiple stakeholders across functions/teams including executive band members, program management, government business systems, planning, purchasing, finance, and manufacturing.
  • Improve processes for repeatable deployments of the ERP blueprint to sustain business operations and enable the expansion of the Edison Works business, in support of manufacturing, sourcing, services and finance capabilities.
  • Drive strong business engagement to adopt the ERP blueprint using Lean, Problem Solving, and Agile to improve the speed and quality of our deployments.
  • Drive data readiness (Mater Data and Transactional).
  • Influence others to find creative solutions within complex business processes with technical variety and/or interdependent production cycles.
  • Evaluate quality of information received and questions conflicting data for analysis.
  • Use multiple internal and external resources outside of own function to help arrive at a decision.
  • Positively & collaboratively lead the business through change.
  • Energize team and fosters teamwork and innovation through inclusion.
  • Support the hiring, retention, and talent development as we build out the enterprise software solutions team.
  • Provide coaching, feedback, developmental opportunities, etc. to indirect reports within a broader team.
  • Perform team financial reviews and ensures budget goals are met.
  • Provide strategic inputs into Budget Review and other business activities.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a US Government security clearance.

Desired Skills

  • Experience with Supply Chain management processes and tools (5 or more years)
  • Deep domain expertise working with ERP enterprise solutions and their design and deployment (SAP experience desired)
  • Experience leading enterprise initiatives and large, matrixed working teams
  • Understanding of full stack platform concepts and technologies
  • Understanding of Platform Integration strategies by developing applications and framework
  • Active US DOD Security Clearance
  • Understanding and knowledge of DT Security control frameworks (i.e. NIST, ISO, etc.) as well regulatory requirements impacting DT systems (i.e. DFARS, ITAR, DoD/MoD, etc.)
  • Excellent influencing, interpersonal and communications skills (both written and verbal) with all levels of an organization  
  • Self-starter who collaborates well with others to solve problems
  • PMP, ScrumMaster, or related certifications

Minimum Qualification

  • Bachelors degree from accredited university or college with a minimum of 10 years professional experience OR Associate degree with a minimum of 13 years of professional experience OR High School diploma with a minimum of 15 years of professional experience.
  • Minimum 7 years of professional experience in ERP product solution management and Digital Technology.
  • NOTE: Military experience is equivalent to professional experience
