Position Title:

Deputy Program Manager Senior Manager -Contingent on proposal award



Overview:

Responsible for operations at the 4TS Program Management Office (PMO) in Huntsville, Alabama. Accountable to the Program Manager on assigned task orders for cost, schedule, and performance with direct oversight of subcontractors and project risk. Manages daily business operations of the PMO. Active U.S. Top Secret Clearance is required and ability to travel up to 30.



Job Description:

  • Responsible for meeting contractual commitments including the financial, quality, technology, and schedule performance of assigned program(s) within contractual boundaries, company expectations, and established standards, using the approved business model and management tools.
  • Manages the program risk and opportunity, in accordance with specific financial goals and obligations.
  • Uses approved control systems and reports that accurately measure progress, identifies potential problems in sufficient time for corrective action to be taken and ensures the meeting of companys contract commitments
  • Supervises and integrates the performance of the program Integrated Product Teams
  • Develops customer and program enhancing partnerships with internal functional organizations; such as contracts, finance, procurement, manufacturing, quality control, logistics, and administrative functions.

Education/Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in related discipline
  • Minimum 14 years prior relevant experience, Defense and Technical Program Management
  • Threat and Target Design 3 years general experience
  • Manufacturing 3 years general experience
  • Defense Test 6 years general experience
  • Defense Training 8 years experience.

Budget Responsibilities:

Budget or P&L accountability for the department. Responsible for continued program growth over and above AOP.

Physical Requirements:

Light work. Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects. If the use of arm and/or leg controls requires exertion of forces greater than that for sedentary work and the worker sits most of the time, the job is rated for light work.



Visual Activity:

The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading; visual inspection involving small defects, small parts, and/or operation of machines (including inspection); using measurement devices; and/or assembly or fabrication parts at distances close to the eyes.

Working Conditions:

The worker is primarily in an office environment. Programs will require travel to and working in outside environments at government locations from hot and dry to cold and humid. PPE required to mitigate environmental and safety hazards.
