Job Description:

Airbus Commercial Aircraft is looking for a Culture and Engagement Manager (Contract) t o join our  Employee Relations team based in Herndon, VA.

In this position you will define & deliver business oriented solutions  (including policies, processes and tools) to internal customers in alignment with Business and HR strategy by involving all stakeholders in area of responsibility (CoC).


 

Meet the Team:

Working in our Human Resources department, it’s our mission to help support Airbus’ greatest assets: our team members. Our team works cross-departmentally as well as with our global counterparts to ensure we are making a positive impact on all aspects of our employee experience. The Culture & Engagement Manager will work closely with our internal stakeholders; Airbus employees, HR Business Partners and Managers to ensure visibility, alignment and impact of our C&E portfolio.


 

Your Working Environment:

The Washington, D.C. metro area is home to multiple Airbus offices: In our nation’s capital you will find the Airbus Experience Center, a collection of interactive, multimedia exhibitions highlighting the extensive role the company plays in the aviation, aerospace and defense industries in the U.S. and around the world. The D.C. area is also home to our regional corporate headquarters – located adjacent to Washington Dulles International Airport (IAD) - it makes flying in a breeze!

Your Challenges:

  • Provide overall support in the implementation of the Culture & Engagement vision and strategy

  • Organizing, managing and deploying initiatives including; various employee listening programs, business inclusion champions, to name a few.  

  • Capturing and analyzing data analytics to determine impact and help drive future program development. Data sources include: My Working Environment, Better Workplace and other surveys.

  • Partner and support strategies on diverse recruitment practices, in collaboration with the ERGs, Talent Acquisition and Workforce Development teams with the objective of achieving our recruitment goals.

  • Assist in the maturing of our ERGs, through the identification of internal and external learning opportunities as well as best practice identification and implementation.

  • Assisting with communications by producing graphic design deliverables in the form of: Google Slide presentations, infographics, and marketing materials

Your Boarding Pass:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business or related field of study

  • 3&43; years experience in HR with a passion for DEI

  • Experience in translating large amounts of data into meaningful outputs

  • Experience in internal Marketing & Communication desired

  • An ability to problem solve and to respond well to changing priorities in a fast paced environment.

  • Experience in translating large amounts of data into meaningful outputs

  • Advanced use of Google suite of programs, preferred



 

Travel Required: 

  • 5 Domestic and International
