The Controls Validation and Testing Manager role is a high impact, high autonomy role, with candidates demonstrating experience and expertise in solving complex problems and high influence across the business. In this role, you will lead a team that works with the DB14 & DB13 teams to develop Controls Systems Requirements to ensure consistency for the testing approach of the SW built; built a strategy to establish a validation design process to warranty compliance with regulators; and create a testing strategy for HW and SW in collaborating with Certification Leaders, ODA representatives and A&C. On top of this, this manager will lead the MX Commercial Controls labs (AEO Controllers Test System, Commercial FTS & Component Test Facility in collaboration with the DB13, DB14, DB15, DB17 and DB18.Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
- Provide overall technical & people leadership.
- Responsible for the teams technical recommendations to programs and leadership.
- Actively represents and influences disciplines or programs during discussions with GM.
- Translate organizational KPIs into daily management/WOR; keep the team focused during priority shifts, set operating cadence as well as drive action plan and execution.
- Manage team operations and health, drives system thinking, risk abatement and problem solving.
- Engages diverse set of stake holders.
- Implement and identifies business initiatives as required. Serve as a role model in safety compliance and integrity.
- Be actively involved in the technical execution of the team. Escalates when necessary and resolves priority conflicts.
