Position Summary
MAG Aerospace is seeking a Configuration & Data Managment Specialist to support PMA-273 (Naval Undergraduate Flight Training Systems Program Office) at Patuxent River NAS as Technical Directives Coordinator. This Technical Directives Coordinator will be responsible for development, processing, and tracking of training platform technical directives in direct support of contractual requirements.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Duties include, but not limited to:
- Coordinate the processing of Technical Directives through the Enterprise Change Management Tool.
- Procedural evaluation of logistics forms related to Technical Directives; Working with Stakeholders (LEMs, PMA, CM/DM Group, FSTs) in the process and procedures for Technical Directive routing and approval.
- Support SMEs for respective organizations, including IMRL, SE, P&P, Tech Data, etc related to Technical Directive development.
- Coordinate training of new personnel with Technical Directive development and processing techniques.
- Assist Configuration Manager with functions relating to the development and/or implementation of policies and procedures related to Technical Directives.
Requirements
Knowledge and Skills
- A working knowledge of Deckplate, NATEC, Enterprise Change Management Tool, and/or Flighthub systems.
- Excels at Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, Powerpoint) and Adobe PDF
- Good communication skills
- Six (6) years of experience in logistics support or maintenance, including at least three (3) years of specific experience in Technical Directives, and at least three (3) years demonstrating a working knowledge of NATEC, Enterprise Change Management Tool, Deckplate, Flighthub systems.
Education
- BS or BA degree from an accredited institution.
- High school diploma or GED and eleven (11) years of acquisition or operational logistics management experience may be substituted for the degree requirement.
Clearance
- Candidate must be a US citizen.
- Candidate must be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
