Role title
Cabin Appearance and Provisioning Stores Manager
Your role
A member of the Aer Lingus Dublin Station Management Team and reporting through the Ground Operations Manager, the Cabin Appearance and Provisioning Manager manages all aspects of aircraft cabin interior cleaning; including cabin rotatable, passenger comfort provisioning and toilet and potable water service; all as part of the Dublin ground handling operation. This incorporates management of the Cabin Appearance Section and Provisioning Stores to ensure the appropriate staff, cabin equipment resources are made available to handle all the requirements of Aer Lingus operations. The role also incorporates the ordering and stock management of supplies always ensuring the constant availability of required products.
Within the context of Aer Lingus Ground Operations, the Cabin Appearance & Provisioning Manager:
- Is a key position in the Aer Lingus Dublin Station Management Team
- Maintains a safe and compliant Cabin Appearance and Provisioning operation
- Managing approximately 211 staff.
- Ensures that all aircraft are cleaned and provisioned to the standards required according to the published flight schedule, maintaining station KPI’s
- Has managerial and budgetary accountability for the Cabin Appearance Section and Provisioning Stores
- Management and inventory control of Provisioning Stores
- Is pivotal in the implementation and introduction of new technology, tools and processes through station projects
- Develops teamwork and a professional working environment
Principal Accountabilities / Responsibilities
- Manage All aspects of safety in Cabin Appearance and Provisioning Stores, including auditing
- Manage Cabin Appearance and Provisioning Stores daily operations through direct report Supervisors
- Be accountable Cabin Appearance and Provisioning Stores monthly budgets – Manpower and Overheads
- Plan and Develop the introduction of new processes, procedures, tools, equipment, vehicles and cleaning materials
- Manage the delivery of the manpower plan for Cabin Appearance and Provisioning Stores
- Direct and liaise with the training department in the delivery of training for Cabin Appearance and Provisioning stores staff
- Ensure Cabin Appearance and Provisioning Stores are compliant to HR policies and agreements
- Implement and maintain the delivery of INFORM Resource Management software with Cabin Appearance Operations in conjunction with Project Team and Station Management
- Participate in relevant Station, Operations, Staff and Union meetings
- Manage Performance Management process within Cabin Appearance and the Provisioning Stores for relevant Grade staff and Fixed Term Contractors
- Participate In Corporate Integrated Logistics Project and implement new working practices with support of Provisioning Stores and Cabin Appearance

Your qualifications and key criteria
- Experience in Cabin Appearance operations and Provisioning operations
- Previous experience of operating in an Airside environment and an understanding of Airside Safety, Airside Driving, Fire Safety and Health & Safety at Work
- Ability to work on own initiative and to work effectively as part of a team
- Ability and flexibility to meet deadlines and work out of hours when necessary
- Good interpersonal and communications skills at all levels.
- Forward thinking with a passion for continuous improvement
- A full current and clean driving licence.
- Knowledge of stock control and stores operations
