Job Summary:
The HUB (CVG) Maintenance Manager is responsible to the Director of Maintenance. The HUB (CVG) Maintenance manager is responsible for maintenance Personnel in CVG. Ensures all maintenance is accomplished in a timely manner, in a safe and efficient manner to maintain aircraft in an airworthy condition.
Functions/Responsibilities
- Responsible for line station processes. Must identify any changes that will enhance department process quality.
- Responsible for the oversight of the CVG station and personnel in regard to administrative requirements, training, work performance and compliance of company policies and procedures contained in the GMM.
- Monitor station staffing and scheduling to ensure adequate maintenance coverage and operational efficiency.
- Coordinate with Maintenance Control to ensure completion of maintenance, preventative maintenance, and repair of company aircraft.
- Ensure a safe working environment for maintenance personnel in CVG.
- The HUB (CVG) Maintenance Manager is fully authorized to carry out all assigned responsibilities. This includes disciplinary action for employees and recommending termination of those under their supervision.
- Reviews paperwork generated by the CVG station for accuracy and completeness.
- Ensure tooling, equipment and publications are available to accomplish assigned tasks.
- Ensure personnel are using current working copies of manuals respective to the job at hand.
- Coordinate and communicate with other Kalitta Charters II departments and Director of Maintenance.
- Review operational delays and implement changes, which will minimize delays and increase efficiency.
- Schedule manpower of proper skill level for maintenance functions through coordination with Maintenance control.
Requirements
Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Airframe or Powerplant License (Both preferred)
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Office computer systems
Experience & Professional Skills:
- Two years of experience working on B-737 aircraft preferred
- Diversified experience in maintenance on large, fixed wing aircraft
Work Environment & Culture Skills:
- Candidate must pass DOT/FAA pre-employment drug screen and a DOT/FAA compliant background check
- Candidate must be able to understand, read and write English
- Candidate should be motivated, resourceful, energetic, organized, and able to manage and be managed

- Employees are regularly required to, stand, sit, talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer and telephone keyboard
- Moderate to heavy lifting is required (up to 70lbs)
- Must be able to climb and use a ladder, work stands, platforms and lift equipment
- Work within a confined workspace(s)
Location Requirements:
- Operation based in Erlanger, KY (CVG Airport)
- There is no ability to work from home
Shift Requirements:
- Must be available full-time and work overtime when required
- Travel from base may be periodically requested

- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
