Boeing Global Services (BGS) is seeking a Buyer Furnished Equipment (BFE) Manager (Level K) to join our BGS – C Modifications and Conversions team in Seattle, WA. In this critical role, the selected candidate will lead a dedicated team to support activities related to Buyer Furnished Equipment (BFE) and management of supplier data deliverables in a fast-paced environment. This position offers the opportunity to develop new skills, tackle challenging problems, and advance within the Supply Chain organization. The BFE Manager will work closely with Program Management, engage with BCA counterparts, and proactively manage supplier performance to ensure seamless integration and alignment across teams.


This position is expected to be 100 onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work at the Seattle location.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team focused on Buyer Furnished Equipment (BFE) activities and supplier data deliverables, ensuring alignment with program objectives and requirements.

  • Collaborate closely with Program Management to integrate BFE strategies into overall program plans and timelines.

  • Proactively manage supplier performance related to data deliverables, ensuring timely and accurate submissions that meet program needs.

  • Foster strong engagement with BCA counterparts to align on supplier performance and address any issues that may arise.

  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, customers, stakeholders, peers, and direct reports to facilitate effective communication and collaboration.

  • Analyze data to identify trends and develop strategies that enhance supplier performance and meet program requirements.

  • Conduct supplier assessments and evaluate risks, issues, opportunities, and impacts on program/customer requirements.


This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements; therefore, a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. 120.15 is required. A “US Person” includes a US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Supplier Management or Program Management.

  • Minimum of 5 years of leadership experience in roles such as team lead, project manager, or manager.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field.

  • Proven experience working with suppliers and managing a supply base in a dynamic environment with a focus on data deliverables and performance management.

  • Strong background in data analysis and strategic decision-making.
