The vision of Gas Turbine Fuel Systems Division is to be the global leader in the design, development, manufacture, and service of engine fuel, lubrication, and thermal management systems and components for aerospace/defense and industrial applications. By leveraging our expertise in analysis, atomization, combustion, fluid metering, and control — coupled with enterprise excellence — we will exceed customer expectations and achieve our business objectives.
Position Summary:Leads a multi-disciplinary, customer-focused business team to accomplish program objectives through coordinated division efforts. Serves as a liaison for customer-to-company interface on program performance. Establishes and implements tactical and operational plans to achieve division objectives. Typically, a mid-management level at a large division with high sales volume and multiple or complex product lines; may serve at a staff level at a medium to small division.

LEVEL CHARACTERISTICS
I. ComplexityDefines projects and specific outcome measures for a cross-functional team identified with a major business program(s). Cross-functional responsibility for variousspecialty disciplines that may or may not include manufacturing areas. Acts as the business area advisor to division staff concerning specific detail on programperformance and contractual obligations. Provides business team direction in developing priorities across multiple projects.

II. ImpactFrequent contact with customers and across internal departments concerning program and proposal efforts. Has primary responsibility for program status reporting to identify and resolve potential problems and insure contract and schedule commitments are met. May be directly involved in the development of major proposals and contracts and participate in negotiations with impact to sales volume and earnings.

Qualifications-Knowledge of business development, manufacturing operations, and program management functions that would typically be obtained through a Bachelors degree in a technical or business discipline, and eight or more years of progressive experience within that specialty. Demonstrated ability to perform the described role and responsibilities and obtain the desired results. An advanced degree or a professional designation may be preferred.-Four or more years of team and project leadership requiring advanced planning and organizational skills.-Thorough knowledge of and background in controlling development and/or mature programs.-Thorough understanding of business and financial plans and controls, contractual terms and regulatory requirements.-Demonstrated teamwork and team building skills in producing results and meeting organizational objectives. Capable of assessing and developing individual teamskills and capabilities. Able to create and maintain enthusiasm for new and challenging goals. Serves as a role model by promoting new ideas and positive change.-Effective presentation and interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to interface effectively with customers.
