The purpose of this job is to manage all aspects of Cleveland Tennessee Regional Jetport operations, maintenance, development and promotion.
This position works independently, under limited supervision, reporting major activities through periodic meetings.
The functions listed below are those that represent the majority of the time spent working in this position. Management may assign additional functions related to the type of work of the position as necessary.
- Ensures adherence with FAA and TDOT-AERO directives providing a safe and legally compliant facility for traveling public.
- Monitor compliance of tenants with Minimum Standards, Rules and Regulations, Leases, and Federal Aviation Regulations.
- Conducts daily inspections of facilities including hangars, fuel systems, airport lighting systems, runway, and taxiway conditions.
- Manages the daily operations of the Regional Jetport.
- Develops and secures Federal, State, and Local grant funding support for continued airport development and maintenance.
- Provides maintenance support for sophisticated aviation weather reporting systems, airfield lighting systems, aircraft storage facilities, terminal building maintenance, groundskeeping, and other duties as needed.
- Performs related work as required.
